San Marco Design Suites - Venice

This place was a letdown, reminded me of a cheap motel. The bathroom was cramped, with no counter space. Please fix that leaky shower-it's not a water feature! I really thought I'd get a room upgrade to make up for this, but honestly, why bother. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

The twin room we stayed in were nicely decorated with a large balcony. Its location in Venice was absolutely perfect, next to a quiet residential area which felt off the beaten track, the ferries in Venice and St Marks square. Spent our evenings in nearby La Rivista Restaurant Bar enjoying drinks and atmosphere...

the venue was set in the central position close enough to restaurants, san marco piazza and water bus, the major attractions, and the canal. we visited ai gondolieri based in the area.

The location was perfect, just minutes from the Grand Canal and main attractions. The room offered a spacious terrace, and Francesca was helpful with local recommendations. Although the hotel lacked cooking facilities, there were plenty of dining options nearby, making it a minor issue.

The hotel was a fabulous base for enjoying a nice quiet area, really close to the ferries in Venice, a water taxi to the airport and the vaporetto stop, which has both regular water trams and a ferry from the airport. All the staff was especially helpful, solved my issues. Loved beautifully decorated a twin room with all necessary things, wouldn't mind staying there all day. An electric kettle, a refrigerator and glassware were a nice touch. The property had a central location and it was a couple of blocks away from a picture gallery❤

The room was en suite and neat with a shower, hair dryers and a bidet in the private bathroom. The staff and the host were all genuinely helpful.

Francesca provided so many personal touches like robes, charging ports, and travel books. The location is a great balance between quiet and proximity to attractions!

The room featured a convenient coffee maker for that morning boost. A fridge added extra value for snacks and drinks, keeping my energy up for exploring.

Getting the key turned out to be a hassle. Meeting up with the host can be challenging when using public transport. The shower leaked excessively, forcing us to soak up water using multiple towels. The bathroom lacked counter space, and the tiny shower didn't drain well, leading to flooded floors.

The location is ideal for those looking to explore

As it's just a short stroll to major attractions. The experience was improved with Francesca's warm hospitality. Despite a minor slip due to the bathroom tile, our overall stay was good and nice. I'd highly recommend staying here.

The location offers a amazing balance of quietness while being a short walk from major attractions was good. Francesca provided really good hospitality, meeting us at the water bus stop and sharing fantastic restaurant recommendations that elevated our dining experience, especially the crispy fries we enjoyed. The room was bright and comfortable, with USB charging ports and cozy amenities that added a special touch to our stay.

Francesca was very helpful, but bathroom tiles are slippery. Watch your step!

Convenient location close to everything, just a minute's walk from a boat stop. Our room wasnice and neat, with a nice bed with four pillows. Francesca welcomed us at the boat dock and provided clear instructions on accessing the apartment. She was very helpful with local recommendations. The air conditioning worked well, and we appreciated the short walk to major attractions like Rialto and St Mark's Square.

The front door key was broken.

It was just a fitting option for a quick break in Venice with good value. The coffee maker in the room was a nice touch, especially in the morning. Consider bringing your own snacks since no breakfast is included.
